Taylor Pride
Taylor Pride is an organized group of Taylor residents seeking opportunities to bring our LGBTQIA+ family and our allies together within our community and our neighboring communities.

Taylor Pride is an organized group of Taylor residents seeking opportunities to bring our LGBTQIA+ family and our allies together within our community and our neighboring communities. Our main goal is to bring awareness, to advocate, to educate, to support & to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community.
Taylor Pride began in early 2020 with a virtual pride celebration during the pandemic, along with the display of nearly 200 yard signs to publicly show support, allyship & safe spaces. On June 26th, 2021, Taylor Pride hosted the first Pride celebration for the City of Taylor and for Williamson County, bringing together nearly 2000 people from our local rural communities and abroad.
In November of 2021, we initiated the creation of the Duck Pantry with the Bill Pickett Foundation. The Duck Pantry provides much needed snacks and lunch options for the Taylor ISD elementary schools.
Other events we have hosted include PRIDE bingo, drag brunches, and a monthly Youth Group meetup.
We have submitted on our 501(c)3 application and are continuing to work with local businesses, organizations and schools to offer opportunities for our LGBTQ+ community to thrive.
