CLAIMING SPACE

A space for LGBTQ folds & allies to share
conversation, creativity & cake.

Each month, we come together around a big table to share our stories and discuss the monthly topic as a community (with cake!).

Everyone gets about 5 minutes to share whatever they’d like.

As we listen, we also create, using art supplies like crayons, colored pencils, paint, clay, and more.

November's discussion topic:

STRESS / ANXIETY

It has been an incredibly stressful month. And now we're headed into the holidays, which can bring a lot of stress and anxiety. Let's come together to share what's going on in our worlds, how we're holding up and ideas for how we can take care of ourselves (and manage our anxiety) over the next few weeks.

Sunday, November 17, 4-6pm
St. James Episcopal Church (Kitchen Space)
612 Davis Street, Taylor, TX

This program is for folks 18 years and older

Co-hosted by Taylor Pride and St. James Episcopal Church (with a grant from the Spirituality Mind Body Institute, Columbia University), CLAIMING SPACE is a series of gatherings that will use creativity and conversation to explore the hurt and hope of our spiritual journeys, particularly for folks in the LGBTQIA community.
